Bogus Internet Page You are to create a simple web page that appears authoritative but has no proof for what it claims. You could invent a new animal or fight for abolishing a harmless object (like the web sites we checked out), or you can go off in your own direction. You don’t have to know anything about computer programming, but you will need to use your imagination. Here’s how you should complete the assignment:
Snopes photos: Oddities, People, Nature
Use pictures as proof (at least 1). No matter what you choose to write about, an image of some sort can help you. Cite the photo source. http://www.hodagpress.com/images/Hodag_1.jpg Use hyperlinks (at least 5). Where do you want your visitors to link to? Try to relate the link to your own page somehow. Directions: Have the webpage you want to link to open in Internet Explorer. All you need to do is highlight a word, click on the hyperlink button on the toolbar (it looks like a chain), and copy and paste the url into the box that opens.
NOTE: You can also do this by typing a URL and then hitting return, though it’s not as pretty.
