Thassophobia is the literary club here at MFHS. Students are editors of the literary magazine, organizers of the Thassophobia Read-in, and choosers of the Submission of the Week.

Each week, members of the club meet in order to read student writing, and help that student writing to get published. If you are interested in reading poetry and prose, and analyzing art and other forms of expression, then Thasso might be for you. 

Submission of the Week--Students submit their poems, short stories, or art, and Thasso Editors judge a winner for the weekly contest.

Thassophobia Read-In-- Takes place in the fall, just before winter break. This is pretty much a student talent show, which includes reading poetry and prose, singing, dancing, and art. Club members run the show and get experience managing a production of artistic expression.

Thassophobia Literary Magazine and DVD--Contains work from the past year submitted to the club, as well as a DVD of the Read-In.
